The sink won't fit in the car!!!

Post  Admin on Mon Aug 25, 2008 7:51 am

I was thinking that it maybe hard to bring much stuff and still be able to take the top off my car and store it in the back. My wife will be traveling with me. I'm hoping to take two small dufflebags and a small cooler. I have never been on a long trip in my vette so I don't really know what to expect.

Does anyone from previous trips remember if it was a problem having the essentials you need and still have room for the top or not enough room period?

If you pack well you can fit everything.
If people can do it with a C4 convertable then it can easily be done with a coupe.
You can alway do laundry when you get to Bowling Green.

Be for I purchased the 08 I had a 91 vert and I was wondering how I was going to fit everything. We go to Corvettes in Carlisle every year and we were able to fit 5 days of clothes in the 91 without any problem but couldn't put the top down. The new Corvettes have so much more room that I don't think it's an issue. This year I took the 08 to Carlisle and had enough room for two chairs, five days of clothing for two, and 60 Caravan shirts we were selling to raise money. With all that, I could still put the top down. What I suggest doing is use multiple smaller soft bags and do a trial packing. I think you will find that you will have more than enough room in a coupe. As I said, you can always do laundry in BG if needed.
